The event was highlighted by the presence of Fr. Manuel Tamargo, CMF, General Prefect of Economy, who gave an encouraging talk to the novices and introduced the film Slaves and Kings before a community movie viewing—a powerful depiction of St. Claret’s life and mission.

Amador Tumbaga, CMF, Provincial Superior, presided over the Mass, which was attended by the different Claretian communities and parishes in Metro Manila and the Claretian Family members. After the Eucharist, a simple dinner was served. The youth and parishioners of the various parishes, Claretian seminarians, and priests performed dances for entertainment while the food was served.

In Zamboanga City, Fr. Larry Miranda, CMF, spearheaded the celebration with a Mass at 5:30 pm at the San Antonio Maria Claret Parish with the youth, the parishioners, and the Claretian Sisters.
