Claretian Postulants – The Culmination with the theme “WE GO FORTH.”

Mar 18, 2026 | Postulation

INDANG, Cavite — The seven postulants of the Batch 2025–2026 of the Fr. Rhoel Gallardo Province marked the conclusion of their postulancy program through a culminating celebration with the theme “We Go Forth!” on March 15, 2026, held at the Claret Apostolic Center Postulancy House in Indang, Cavite.

The celebration began with the Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Provincial Superior, Rev. Fr. Amador Tumbaga, CMF. Joining him in concelebration were Rev. Fr. Mauricio Ulep, CMF, Prefect of Formation, and Rev. Fr. Ralden Mercadejas, CMF, Postulant Master.

During the Mass, the Provincial Superior formally announced that the seven postulants have been approved to proceed to the novitiate. In his homily, Fr. Mauricio Ulep emphasized that as they transition to the next stage of formation, the postulants are called to “go forth joyfully,” embracing the novitiate with gratitude for the journey that has brought them thus far and with hope for what lies ahead.

The Eucharistic celebration also included the Sending Off Rites led by the Provincial Superior. During this moment, the postulants—soon to be novices—were given crucifixes, a sign of the new stage of life they are called to embrace.
Following the Mass, a simple celebration and program were held in honor of the occasion. The gathering was attended by some of the postulants’ families, Claretian communities, mission partners, apostolate communities, and colleagues in the ministry, who joined them in giving thanks for the grace of the year and in sending them forth as they prepare to enter the novitiate.
