The CYC + NYD Re-Echo 2025 gathered young Claretians from CYM–Maluso and CYM–Tumahubong for a three-day camp held from November 7–9, 2025, at Claret School of Maluso. The event overflowed with faith, learning, and fellowship as participants reflected on the theme, “Rejoice in Hope, Endure in Afflictions, Persevere in Prayer.”
The re-echo aimed to relive the inspiring moments of the National Youth Day (NYD) celebration in Naga City and to deepen the participants’ spiritual life through dynamic sessions, creative activities, and meaningful encounters with God and one another.
Throughout the camp, participants joined six major sessions focused on personal growth, faith, and resilience.
The opening session, Start-Ups, set the tone for the entire camp by inviting everyone to begin their journey with openness and enthusiasm. It reminded the youth that every spiritual journey begins with a heart ready to listen and learn.

In Small Wins and Big Wins, participants were encouraged to celebrate both the little and major victories of life. The session emphasized that even simple acts of kindness and perseverance are valuable milestones in one’s faith journey.

The third session, Brokenness, centered on the themes of healing and acceptance. Participants were reminded that moments of weakness and pain are not failures but opportunities for God’s grace to bring restoration and strength.

During Dreams and Hope, the youth were challenged to keep their dreams alive while trusting in God’s timing. Hope, as shared in the session, is the anchor that sustains one’s goals and faith amid uncertainty.

The fifth session, Shield and Defense, focused on standing firm against life’s challenges. It reminded the participants that prayer and faith are their greatest defenses against fear, doubt, and discouragement.

Finally, Temperance and Prayer highlighted the importance of self-discipline, consistency, and a deep prayer life. It encouraged everyone to persevere in prayer and stay steadfast in faith despite distractions and struggles.

These sessions were facilitated by dedicated Session Masters: Fr. Derrick Russel Q. Tapel, CMF; Ms. Merry Joy Salio; and Bro. Harold R. Tan, CMF, whose insights and presence enriched the entire experience.

The camp concluded with renewed spirits, strengthened friendships, and a deepened faith. Participants returned to their communities inspired to live out the call to “rejoice in hope, endure in afflictions, and persevere in prayer”—a message that continues to guide them beyond the camp’s closing day.
