Saint Anthony Mary Claret College (SAMCC) celebrated its 41st Foundation Anniversary and hosted its 3rd Alumni Homecoming on October 17. The event carried the theme “Ang Muling Pagbabalik” and the motto “Once a Claretian, Always a Claretian.” Batch 85 and 86 spearheaded the gathering in coordination with the college administration, the Claret College Alumni Association, and the KCI.
The program started at 9:00 AM at the Claret Seminary Compound. Rev. Fr. Angelito S. Ancla, CMF, Dean of the College, led the opening prayer. Atty. Roland De Guzman, Alumni Association President, delivered the opening remarks. Claretian seminarians then led a Zumba dance to warm up the participants. Alumni and seminarians played friendly matches in basketball, volleyball, and table tennis. Nearby, the Claretian Communications Foundation, Inc. set up a pop-up bookstore to offer reading materials and Bible diaries.

The afternoon program began at 2:30 PM. The Koro Claretiano performed musical numbers alongside Filipino and Vietnamese cultural dances. During this session, Atty. Roland De Guzman and his family officially donated a brand new 75-inch Interactive Smart TV to the college. Fr. Ancla delivered a message of gratitude on behalf of the SAMCC community for the equipment that will improve classroom technology and interactive learning.

Attendees later gathered at the St. Anthony Mary Claret Chapel for the Holy Mass. Fr. Ancla presided over the Eucharistic celebration with Rev. Fr. Salvador “Buddy” Agualada, CMF, as concelebrant. Followed by the evening program, KCI announced their newly elected leaders. Then the alumni concluded the full day of activities with a Fellowship Night.
