What began with shy smiles and unfamiliar faces soon turned into a celebration of friendship, faith, and community as delegates from the CYM communities of IHMP, ICP, Liwanag, Montalban, and Hogar gathered for the Claret Youth Camp Re-Echo North 2026 at Claret School of Quezon City from August 29 to 31.
The first day broke the ice—literally and figuratively. Through games, activities, and meaningful talks, the delegates gradually opened up and discovered the beauty of solidarity. They learned that differences do not have to divide a community; instead, they can become opportunities to listen, understand, and grow together.
The second day brought the delegates deeper into the heart of the camp. Talks, worship, and sharing sessions focused on love—God’s love, love for oneself, and love for others. Stories of struggles and hope filled the room, reminding everyone that love is more than a feeling. It is choosing to listen, forgive, understand, and care.
The delegates also put their faith into action through a mission activity. Working together to gather ingredients, prepare food, and share it with children became one of the camp’s most memorable moments. It showed that even simple acts of service can become powerful expressions of love.
On the final day, the Re-Echo and Claret Race challenged the delegates to carry the spirit of the camp beyond its walls. The message was clear: what they learned should not remain at the camp—it should be lived out in their families, schools, and communities.
As the camp came to a close, the delegates left with new friendships, unforgettable memories, and a renewed sense of purpose. The three-day gathering may have ended, but their mission continues—to walk together in solidarity, share God’s love, and serve others through concrete actions.
