Claretian Publications started its exhibition yesterday, September 9, at the 47th Manila International Book Fair. The five-day event runs through September 13 at the SMX Convention Center in the Mall of Asia complex. Visitors can find the publisher at Aisle I of the Kalye Katoliko section, occupying booths 265 through 269.
The opening day featured the launch and signing of the book “Artificial Intelligence and the Catholic Church: Challenges, Discernment, and Hope in a Digital Age.” The theological authors, Leo-Martin Angelo R. Ocampo, OP, and Ivan Efreaim A. Gozum, OP, presented the new title. Today, author Jose Mario Bautista Maximiano followed up the activities with a book signing session at 10:00 AM.
The publisher highlights a special event scheduled for Friday, September 11. CCFI will host a book launch and signing with Most Rev. Mylo Hubert C. Vergara, DD, at 2:00 PM. Dr. Dave Ceasar F. Dela Cruz, OP, will continue the Friday schedule with his own signing session at 4:00 PM.
Readers have opportunities to meet other authors throughout the weekend. Sr. Mary John Mananzan, OSB, will interact with visitors during two separate schedules on September 12 at 11:00 AM and September 13 at 3:00 PM. Alexander C. Del Rosario, MBA, will sign books on September 12 at 1:30 PM.
On the final day of the book fair, September 13, Bro. Jesus N. Matias, OFS, will hold a session at 11:00 AM. Representatives from the Philippine Positive Psychology Association will conclude the events with a signing session at 2:00 PM. CCFI invites all attendees to explore new releases and preview the 2027 Seasonals at their booths.
