Claretian educational institutions across the Philippines conducted various academic, athletic, and formation activities throughout September 2026. Saint Anthony Mary Claret College, Claret School of Quezon City, Claret School of Zamboanga City, Claret School of Maluso, and Claret School of Tumahubong organized these events to promote sportsmanship, strengthen solidarity, and prepare for the new academic term.
Saint Anthony Mary Claret College (SAMCC) held the annual Daop-Palad gathering on September 21 at the Saint Luigi Orione Seminary in Montalban, Rizal. The event brought together participants from 15 religious congregations and one diocese. Rev. Fr. Le Duc Tho, CMF, presided over the opening mass. During the homily, Rev. Fr. Kevin Rendor, CMF, advised the students to master technology rather than become its slaves. Rev. Fr. Angelito Ancla, CMF, the Dean of SAMCC, then administered the oath of office to the newly elected officers of the Claretian College Student Organization.
Claret School of Zamboanga City advanced its 60th founding anniversary celebration with multiple campus events. From September 14 to 17, preschool and primary students participated in traditional parlor games for Juego de Claretianos 2026. The high school levels concluded their intramural sports, CSZC Palaro 2026, on September 19. The school also hosted a live concert featuring the musical group The Ridleys to celebrate the institutional milestone with alumni and parents.
Claret School of Quezon City hosted the opening of the 37th Season of the SBP and Passerelle Twin Tournament on September 13. Tournament officials and sports executives joined the student athletes for the ceremonial toss.
In the southern region, Claret School of Maluso prepared for the second academic term. The faculty and staff held a coordination meeting and completed a practical training session on fire prevention and emergency preparedness.
Claret School of Tumahubong recorded historic victories at the Basilan Division Athletics Association Meet and Palarong Basilan 2026. The athletic competitions occurred from September 6 to 9. The table tennis team broke a regional record by securing five gold medals and earning five qualification slots for the upcoming regional BARMMAA meet. In the chess tournament, student Rhea Duyucon won gold in the blitz, rapid, and classical categories. Her undefeated performance secured her third consecutive regional qualification.
