Claretian Publications Celebrates Collaboration, Growth, and Mission
On October 29, 2026, collaborators, authors, writers, editors, partners, and friends of Claretian Communications Foundation, Inc. (CCFI) gathered at the Institute for Consecrated Life in Asia (ICLA) Auditorium for THE SEED: A Claretian Celebration of Collaboration, Growth, and Mission, a milestone event that honored the people, mission, and ministries that continue to make Claretian publishing and media apostolates flourish.
More than a simple gathering, THE SEED embodied a powerful symbol deeply rooted in the Claretian spirit. Inspired by the charism of St. Anthony Mary Claret, the theme reflected the Gospel as a seed planted in hearts, nurtured through mission, and brought to fruition through communities of faith. It echoed the Claretian vision of being “Rooted in Christ, Audacious in Mission” and highlighted the enduring commitment to proclaiming God’s Word through publishing, communications, and media ministry.
This year’s celebration carried added significance as it coincided with the 45th Foundation Anniversary of Claretian Publications, marking four and a half decades of dedicated service in evangelization through books, educational resources, and Catholic media. Since its beginnings in 1981, Claretian Publications has remained steadfast in its mission of making the Gospel accessible to generations of readers and believers.

The afternoon program opened with the Philippine National Anthem and the Apostolic Prayer of S. Anthony Mary Claret, followed by a retrospective presentation highlighting the journey of CCFI through the years. Participants were welcomed by Fr. Louie Guades III, CMF, Executive Director, who underscored the importance of collaboration in sustaining the organization’s mission. A message from Fr. Amador Tumbaga, CMF, Provincial Superior, further challenged attendees to continue sowing seeds of faith, hope, and service in an ever-changing world.

One of the event’s highlights was the keynote presentation delivered by Fr. Ildefonso “Ilde” Dimaano, Station Director and Manager of 95.9 Radio Totoo. Introduced by John Kenneth Gomez, Marketing Supervisor, Fr. Dimaano shared valuable insights on communication, evangelization, and the continuing relevance of Catholic media in reaching today’s audiences. His message resonated strongly with participants who are themselves engaged in various forms of ministry and communication.

Throughout the program, video presentations showcased the breadth of Claretian apostolates, including the Claretian Media Center and various initiatives that continue to expand the ministry’s reach. These presentations served as a reminder that the mission extends far beyond printed pages, embracing new technologies and platforms to share the Good News.

The event also provided an opportunity to present updates on sales, marketing initiatives, and publishing developments. In line with the objectives of THE SEED, these discussions highlighted current trends and challenges in the publishing industry while reaffirming the shared commitment of collaborators to respond creatively and faithfully to the demands of the times.

A major centerpiece of THE SEED was the official launch of the books and Bible publications released in 2026. Authors were invited on stage to receive certificates and recognition for their contributions to Catholic publishing. The occasion celebrated not only completed works but also the dedication, creativity, and faith that inspired each publication. At the same time, attendees were given a glimpse of forthcoming titles scheduled for release in 2027, offering an exciting preview of future projects that will continue the ministry of evangelization through the written word.

Equally significant was the recognition of the many collaborators who have journeyed alongside CCFI over the years. Writers, editors, authors, contributors, ministry partners, and supporters were honored through the awarding of certificates, acknowledging their invaluable role in helping spread the Word of God. Their contributions serve as living testimonies that the mission of evangelization is strengthened through partnership and solidarity.

More than a celebration of accomplishments, THE SEED became a moment of renewal, gratitude, and hope. It reaffirmed that every book published, every story shared, and every partnership formed is a seed planted in faith, capable of bearing abundant fruit in the lives of individuals and communities.
